What you'll do
In this two-day course you will learn the basic self-rescue techniques that can save you from many emergencies during climbing sport or multi-pitch routes.
Many climbers are unaware of these techniques, essential when tackling a multi-pitch route and that can save us in many situations and avoid a rescue organized by external services.
Some of the maneuvers we will see are: fixing a rope (with two figure eights and a double figure eight), rope joining knots, doubtful anchor lowering, reviewing knots (cow hitch, clove hitch, dynamic, escaped dynamic, anti-return dynamic), belaying with an anti-return dynamic and unblocking by weighting to lower the partner, ascending on a taut rope, passing knots upwards and downwards, load transfer, setting up 3:1 systems, weighting to assist the partner and lowering a partner from a route with a guide mode reverso.
Reviews

I usually have a hard time trusting belayers, but the supervised setup here made me feel completely safe the whole time. Pablo, the guide, was fantastic, very attentive, encouraging, and he speaks French and English too, which was a huge plus for me.
It felt so good to get back on the wall! I’ll definitely be coming back.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to climb around Valencia!
