What you’ll do
Calanques National Park, in the south of France, extends between the cities of Marseille, Cassis and La Ciotat, along a coastal massif of limestone cliffs and islets with ecosystems preserved for many living species. With around 3,400 opened routes (2,400 sport routes and 1,000 trad routes), easy access and a favorable climate in all seasons, the Calanques are nowadays one of the most famous climbing areas in France and Europe.
We organize a sport and multi-pitch climbing trip to Calanques for small groups so you really get to enjoy routes adapted to your level and discover the nicest beaches of this beautiful French National Park. Our qualified rock climbing guide will show you the best routes and locations so you will have a unforgettable experience!

We had a great experience with Pablo teaching us how to climb a multi-pitch. It was a 2 day course. On the first day we went through all theory and climbed at the end already a route with 2 pitches. Pablo was on a static rope checking if we do everything correct. On the second day Pablo let us plan and make decisions on the route by ourself always with feedback and corrections if needed or asked. It was already a small adventure for us. Pablo gave us valuable feedback even for very basic things like knots and rope coiling. We covered all important things to be comfortable climbing the next multi-pitch by our own :)

My partner and I did the lead climbing course this weekend and we had a great time!Our guide Victor was great, he not only explained what to do, but also told us the reason behind the details. He was also very pleasant, friendly and patient.We didn't have a car so the company organised for us to take a ride with our guide :)We both feel like we are ready to go out climbing, with confidence that we can do it in a safe way!

We had an incredible experience at the Valencia Climbing climbing school! Victor, our instructor, was extremely kind, patient, and demonstrated vast knowledge about climbing. He made us feel very comfortable at all times. In addition, it was very easy to coordinate a day for our class, since we were able to schedule it from one day to the next without any problem. I had an amazing experience with Valencia Climb. I had two days free after a conference and contacted them to arrange a guide. They recommend Chulilla which was absolutely amazing. I’m an experienced climber and have climbed in many famous places (Yosemite, Joshua Tree, the Gunks, Kalymnos) but this was the best two days climbing of my life. The guide Victor was amazing at listening to what I enjoyed and picked the perfect sectors and routes for me to try. They were all magnificent. I can’t recommend Climbing Valencia enough (especially Victor)!

We used Valencia Climb for a guided day of Sports Climbing near Puzol after a recommendation. My guide and instructor Victor, from Valencia Climb was thoroughly professional in every sense. I chose the 3 hour sport climbing option, meeting Victor at the VC office and he drove me to the crag in Cheste, I thought 20 Euros extra to travel there and back to be very affordable.Victor is a career climber who lives and breathes his passion, he is totally committed to safety, is a very capable climber, friendly and has an easy smile. We warmed up on some easy grades and then progressed to my limit, being new to the crag Victor helped me out by calling out tips on holds I had trouble finding and he also made suggestions to reconfigure my technique when necessary. This knowledge was much appreciated and helped me top out.Pablo took care of the admin side and sent photos that Victor had taken. All up it was a very enjoyable experience and I do recommend Valencia Climb.

An unforgettable experience and best climbing guide. We climbed the UBSA dihedral to the rock of Ifach. Pablo knew perfectly well how to set the most appropriate pace and give invaluable advice during the climb. He managed to make a demanding route an enjoyable experience. We did the multi-pitch climbing course with Víctor. It has been a super complete and fun experience. On Saturday we learned all the theory, with Víctor solving all our doubts and explaining all kinds of techniques in detail. Sunday was a great day in the mountains in which we had a lot of fun and put everything we learned into practice. Without a doubt, Victor was an excellent teacher, motivating and encouraging me when I had to climb first class and set up the meetings myself. Now we are very motivated to start the adventure of the wall!

I went to do my climbing baptism with Victor and totally recommend it. Very good choice of site, in Puzol (the only drawback is that access is somewhat complicated by car), Víctor's climbing experience is noticeable both for how well he explains and for the confidence he conveys.I also took the rock climbing initiation course in Cheste. It is a course of about six hours, mostly theoretical, where they teach you the fundamentals of rock climbing: use of the helmet, harness, carabiner, rope, how to tie the knot, and then practice climbing the rock. Víctor explains everything very clearly and is a great professional.

My partner and I took the initiation course and it was great. Víctor is very professional, close and pleasant. You can tell that he is passionate about what he does, he explains with great care, he was very attentive and kind. It was a super pleasant, fun experience that went by super quickly. We feel accompanied all the time, and very safe, something that is important when carrying out any activity of this type. I booked a climbing baptism with them and it was an incredible and stimulating experience. Amazing experience, great level for a range of climbers. Our group's ability ranged from V2 to V5 bouldering and everyone had climbs they could do and enjoy. these guys are really cool. we called them late on a thursday and they totally sorted us out with gear and a guide, javi, who took us out to a sick crag. it never felt this guy was a guide but like one of my friends whom i climb with (just a bit more experienced) and he was super patient with my friends who was climbing outdoors for the first time.

We did a half-day trip with Valencia Climb (8:45am-3pm start/finish in Valencia + 1 hour drive each way) and Gonzalo as our guide - had a great time. We were three plus him, including one person who had never climbed before and one with fairly limited experience. Gonzalo was very chill and helpful for the person with fear of heights. We did one fairly short via ferrata, and then a few short single pitch climbs nearby.Good time, highly recommended, easy organization. Both the guide and the person who organized the trip (Pablo) spoke good English, and the guide also speaks French, maybe other languages too - besides Spanish obviously. All in all a good time and well organized. The via ferrata (K3 - near Xativa) seemed to be a good place to start for someone with a fear of heights who has never done anything like this before, and it seems much easier to start that way than actual climbing for people to get a feel for how the harness works & etc, without requiring any actual technical competences, just a bit of basic fitness.

My adventure with Pere and Valencia Climb today was beyond what I could have hoped for. It was incredibly fun, the views of Tallat Roig where we climbed were stunning, and I think very highly of my guide, Pere. He was clearly very experienced, patient and knowledgeable, and was encouraging but didn’t push me. I did a full day (six hours) and for what you pay, it was such a fantastic deal. I climbed A LOT! I highly recommend Valencia Climb for any climber, whether you climb grade fours or nines. The team did a really good job of figuring out my experience level and shaping a day that suits me well. I know Pere does canyoning excursions too, and if I had more time in Valencia I would book a canyoning trip with him in an instant. There are no shortage of wonderful things to say about this company. I’m so glad I found out about them! If you’re like me and visiting Valencia, want to climb, and not sure where to go or how to get your hands on equipment, definitely give Valencia Climb a call.

Great day out climbing at Gandia with instructor Javi who was super friendly, relaxed and great at sharing pointers on technique and giving my partner confidence to lead belay safely outdoors for the first time. He took some great picture for us too and recommended other crags for us to try on our other climbing day this trip.Prior to climbing communication with Valencia Climb was great. Professional and knowledgable guides for the local climbing areas.We had an amazing day sport climbing at Jerico—great problems with great views. We are frequent gym boulderers so our guide quickly taught us safe technique and brought us to problems at a good difficulty level. Nacho, our guide, had a breadth of knowledge of the local area and helped us adjust our plans as we liked.We'll be looking forward to coming back!

We had a very cool experience!! The trainers were very calm, had a great sense of humor, they were good in explaining and adjusting the lessons to our needs. We just needed a fresh up and they did that perfectly! We went climbing by ourselves the next day without any problems. So thank you guys for that! We still think that the price is pretty high as we had other great lessons including renting material which were much cheaper.

100% recommendable!! Amazing experience with Valencia Climb. I booked three different climbing activities with Pablo:- Top-rope climbing: My partner and I had different levels and experience on climbing and Pablo explained to us the basics of climbing techniques and how to belay. We spent the whole morning with him in Jerica, a gorgeous crag next to the Palancia river.- Leading course: One on one activity combining rock climbing gym and outdoors environments. Again with Pablo, we went through the different lead climbing techniques, the different knots, the ropes, quick draws, belaying devices and stations, we practiced how to fall while lead climbing, different vocabulary...etc. Everything needed for me to be confident and autonomous on lead climbing once the course is over.- Group climbing: Outdoors climbing activity with other climbers of my same level reinforcing everything I learnt in the previous activities and sharing experiences and tips with other people.About Pablo, (the climbing guide) I have to say he is chilled, patient, professional, and he motivates you constantly to improve your skills. I felt safe at any time climbing and also regarding Covid-19 measures. Face masks worn all time, use of liquid chalk, respecting social distancing etc. Besides, he can teach you in either in Spanish, English or Catalan which is definitely a plus if you come from outside to enjoy the Spanish climbing spots.I will definitely book again when I come back to Spain!

Ideal experience! We had a great day climbing and learning climbing techniques with a very focused and pleasant way to teach. An approach to our needs and requirements. Valencia Climb has a very professional organization with great availability.I would definitely repeat it!

I spent two amazing days climbing with Pablo at Valencia Climb and going to some beautiful places outside the city. Pablo is a ton of fun and very knowledgeable. There are routes for every ability level from very easy to extremely difficult. I highly recommend getting out of the city for a day and climbing with these guys. It is a wonderful experience.
