Pablo Benedito

Pablo Benedito

Rock climbing guide / Mountain leader / AEGM, EVAM & UIMLA certified

Born in Valencia in a mountaineer family, Pablo does not remember life without mountains. Here is where his passions meet: sport, nature and photography. Member of the Spanish Association of Mountain Guides (AEGM), the High Mountain School of Valencia (EVAM) and the Union of International Mountain Leader Associations (UIMLA), he has been climbing walls for more than fifteen years and in more than ten different countries between Europe, Africa, America and Asia. He started guiding in 2014 and has extensive knowledge of all the climbing areas in Valencia and the bests of Spain. He is passionate for travel, discovery and languages, loving to meet new people and to make them discover new places.

I love making people have a good time climbing outdoors and reminding them that the best climber is not the strongest, but the one who enjoys the most!

Victor Basterra

Rock climbing guide / EVAM certified

At the age of 18, he discovered the world of adventure and guiding outdoors activities and decided to move with his dog Baku to Gátova, a small mountain town in the middle of the Sierra Calderona, where his mother was born. His passion for the mountains and nature led him to train as a forestry agent. After spending several years as a rafting instructor in different rivers, he decided to get the rock climbing guide qualification to be able to work on his true passion. He has plenty of plans to travel and explore new mountains, always carrying his climbing equipment with him.

I really love my job, I feel lucky to be able to combine what I like the most: nature and accompanying people to places where they could not access with their own means.

Jorge Lauzurika

Rock climbing guide / Mountain leader / Adventure travel guide

Originally from the Basque Country and based in Catalonia, Jorge knows very well the Pyrenees and the climbing areas of the north of the country. He has practiced different mountain sports since he was a child and some years ago rock climbing became his great passion. A travel lover, he has been in countries on all continents and works as an adventure tourist guide all over the world. The different cultures, the people, the shared moments and the new experiences are his motivations to travel and climb as much as possible, every day.

Climbing is the most complete sport: it includes physical condition, psychology, social and emotional skills; to connect with nature and with yourself.

Nacho Botella

Nacho Botella

Local climber

Nacho is a Valencian geographer and local climber. His passion is nature since his childhood and he has travelled to many countries and mountain ranges, climbing mountains and rock walls. He also loves animals and often brings his dogs with him to the climbing crag. He has an extensive knowledge of the crags near Valencia and he can give advise about the best sectors and routes. He also has a great knowledge of boulder areas, especially of Albarracín.

I like climbing not only as a sport but also as a life style. I like to take a drink with friends after a good day on the rocks, talking about the routes. I especially love to be in the mountains sharing my passion with friendly people.

Sabrina Noel

Communication manager

The first experience of Sabrina with outdoor rock climbing was in Valencia, in one of our guided tours in Montanejos. There, this Canadian girl not only confirmed her passion for this sport, but also felt in love with the country, the culture and the language, among other things. A year later, she came back to us, but this time, being part of the team. French teacher in a school, she helps us in her free time with everything related to communication, either behind the camera, the cell phone or the computer.

Climb that goddamn mountain, as Kerouac would say, rappel it down and climb it once more, I would add. Sisyphus was happy with this piece of rock, and so are climbers.
