What you’ll do
Learn the necessary techniques to practice rock climbing safely by your own. In this theoretical and practical course, you will learn the progression and belaying techniques specific to lead climbing.
In the first part of the session, you will learn rope management, clipping quickdraws, safely belaying, and lowering techniques (cleaning the anchors). In the second part, you will transition to rock climbing in a outdoor sport climbing area where you will put everything you have learned into practice.
To participate in this course, you must have previously completed an initiation climbing course or be familiar with the climbing gear, know how to tie-in, belay correctly and progress easily through beginner routes.
