Climbing in Penyagolosa

Located in the province of Castellón, in the region of Maestrat, Mount Penyagolosa, with its 1.814 meters, is the second highest mountain in the Valencian Community and one of the most emblematic.

Right now climbing prohibited in the South face of Penyagolosa throughout the year. The park owners have recently banned climbing although the Park’s regulation allows it. They are trying to reach an agreement, although some routes such as Green Day have already been unbolted.
