Alboy is located close to the river Albaida, in the natural area of Estret de les Aigües and very close to the climbing areas of Bellús. In fact, the climbing wall of Aventador is located in front of the wall of Altet, which is located on the other side of the river.
Aventador wall is characterized by its gray limestone and its long routes. There are routes for beginners as well as intermediate climbers. Technical moves and good friction are guaranteed. The most difficult routes are concentrated in a slightly overhanged wall on the left side. There is also a via ferrata that goes along the wall. Due to its west orientation, it has sun all afternoon, which makes it perfect for climbing in winter.
To get there, the best way is to take the road from Xátiva to Genovés. 500 meters from Genovés, in a roundabout, take a detour where there is a sign of Urbanitzacions, then follow Alboy – Cova Negra signs. Pass the train station and arrive at a picnic area. Continue until the asphalted road ends where you will see a small wood where you can park the vehicle.
In addition to climbers, it is very common to see hikers, trail runners and bikers along the path that links the villages of Alboy and Bellús. Next to the parking is the Cova Negra, a very popular cave frequently visited.
