In winter the climbing is very grateful in the south-facing sectors and in summer you can enjoy climbing in the shade thanks to the cool temperatures due to the altitude and orography of the place.
Olba is a really small village with not many facilities. Involved in the development of the climbing area since a long time and responsibles of the realization of the guidebook, Mirko & Nicky run the Regufio Alto Mijares. Currently, it only offers basic camping and caravan possibilities but they are working on enhancement.
You will find a small supermarket as well as an hotel and restaurant in Venta del Aire, which is the only one of its kind in the whereabouts. Olba is situated at 20 Km of Montanejos and 90 Km of Albarracin. Therefore, it is a good option when it comes to longer climbing holiday involving sport climbing, multi-pitch and bouldering.
