We recommend cold months to travel to Kalymnos to enjoy climbing in the sun, even though climbing in Spring and Fall is also possible due to sectors orientation. There is a climbing festival at the beginning of October and this is a nice season to travel to the island since the atmosphere is very nice and friendly.
You will meet your climbing guide at Kos Airport (KGS), the island next to Kalymnos. From there you will take a ferry (30′ – 1h trip) to get to Kalymnos. There a taxi will bring you to your accommodation in Masouri, the climbers’ village! For this trip it is recommended to rent scooters to move around the island.
We usually rest one day for every two climbing days, but we also adapt the rhythm to the participants. There are many activities for rest days such as diving, hiking, beaches scouting and more!
